Leather flasks were actively used from 5th century BC up to 20th century.

Absolutely safe for use.
Our canteens are made of genuine vegetable tanned leather. In the production process of such a skin do not use chromium salts, so it is environmentally friendly and safe for the nature and humans.
Factory uses natural tanning agents that contain tannins in their composition - bark and wood of oak, acacia, larch, willow, etc.

Flask can be filled with any cold drink:
water (including ice spring), juice, compote, cold tea, lemonade, milk, sour milk products, wine, low alcoholic beverages.
Hard alcohol - up to 48 hours.

Drinks inside stay fresh for a long time, because the wax has antiseptic properties. The drink does not change the taste. To its flavor can add a light honey notes.

Flask is made entirely by hand.
Inside there is no plastic, no metal, no ceramics, no glass - only natural leather and beeswax.


MANUFACTURING PROCESS:

- Flask is hand-stitched with a tight saddle stitch with thick 1mm thread.

- After sewing the leather flat billet is soaked in hot water. Then the future flask is given a volume with the help of dense stuffing with food grains. After that, the flask is sent to the oven, where it dries and becomes dense and rigid. The grits are then removed from the billet.

- Flask is airtight due to penetrating impregnation with melted natural beeswax. We check the tightness of each flask. Product has a light honey aroma.

- Surface of flask is treated with a protective finish that adds a slight sheen to the leather.

To close flask tightly, we suggest screwing cork clockwise (or counterclockwise, if convenient). Unscrew in reverse order.

A leather shoulder strap for carrying flask over your shoulder. Strap is attached to flask with holster buttons. It can be easily taken off if needed.

RECOMENDATION FOR CARE

Flask does not require special specific care, but there are a few rules, which should be adhered to:

- Do not wash flask with hot water.

- Do not wash flask in dishwasher.

- Do not use household chemicals for washing.

- Do not fill flask with hot or carbonated drinks.

- Do not keep strong alcoholic beverages longer than 48 hours.

- Do not expose to direct sunlight or heating devices.


All recommendations are aimed at preserving wax inner coating.

If wax melts or dissolves, product will lose its airtightness.

If flask does overheat, cool it by filling it with cold water.

In flask may contain food grits. Before using it, rinse it with cold water. Grits sometimes remains in small quantities after the molding process.

After washing, wipe with a soft cloth and dry with the cap open.

Any colorless skin care product that contains wax can be used for exterior care.
